What's up Geekly Goods fam! 👀 Odessa A'Zion is finally responding to rumors that she's been considered for Rogue in Marvel's X-Men reboot, and honestly, her answer only fueled the speculation even more.
When asked directly if she's set to join the X-Men franchise, A'Zion replied, "I don't know if I can answer that question. I don't know. I genuinely have no idea." That's a genuinely odd response for someone with supposedly zero official involvement in the project, and it really sounds like some kind of audition process happened, even if she doesn't know the final outcome yet, or possibly does and simply can't disclose it.
That said, Cailee Spaeny remains the reported frontrunner for the role right now, and honestly, between the two, I'd personally love to see Spaeny land Rogue over A'Zion. Both actresses clearly have strong fan support though, and Marvel is expected to make an official cast announcement at this Friday's D23 event.
