I struggled to fire roll the Oak Bracket Fungus because I was using I flimsy bottom board (sawhorse) (log) and a shirt slick top board. I got success on the big fire table in the end. I probably could have gotten better initial results if I used a split log bottom board securely nestled into the ground and a more robust top board, longer and wider.
The solar ignition worked easily because Oak Bracket Fungus is such a good coal extender.
