This is just a few seconds time lapse of Northern Lights in Stockholm Sweden that I took with my Sony a6400 and Sigma 16mm f1.4 but I really think the Nothern Lights looks so cool and it's very rare in Stockholm so I post it any way.
If you are interested in shooting Nothern Lights time lapses, here are my settings.
ISO 100
Shutter speed 2s
Aperture f1.8
Interval 4s
Focal length 16mm
And of course a tripod.
I shot 125 photos and made a time lapse in Final cut pro. I made the panning and also slowed it down 50 percent using frame blending. The northen lights has such a wavy floating motion anyway, so the frame blending slow motion still looks good. And I also found that my original time lapse was a bit too fast, but I couldn't shoot the northern lights at 1 or 2 seconds intervals, because of the long exposure time, so that's why I made som editing in post.
