The North Syracuse Central School District is planning a major reorganization of its schools before the 2027-28 school year, citing declining enrollment, budget pressures and a desire to expand opportunities for students.

The changes stem from a nine-month utilization study that examined how the district’s schools and grade levels are aligned, Superintendent Terry Ward said.
