On a beautiful fall afternoon, we get to see the daily southbound manifest train 11Z on Norfolk Southern’s D&H Sunbury Sub. We even have a neat vantage point from a window inside the Hudson Model Railroad Club, which is getting ready for their open house season in just a few weeks. Links to the train club and open house information can be found below. This train is lead by two locomotives on the head end, and a mid-train “DPU” locomotive which is controlled by the leading unit. This monster train was a whopping 127 rail cars!
