On a beautiful October afternoon, we catch the NS H76 local in East Stroudsburg, PA on the Delaware-Lackawanna Railroad.
The Local out of Allentown drops its cars for DL off in Portland or Slateford, PA, runs light up to East Stroudsburg, and picks up its cars for Allentown. This allows railfans to catch more than just DL ALCOs coming through town, but now EMD veterans as well.
After catching H76 in town, we'll catch it going by the former DL&W Portland station, and then head over to the Jersey side of the Portland Secondary and catch the train near Belvidere. Leading back to Allentown is a former Conrail SD40-2 with an awesome Leslie RS3L.
