This was one epic backpacking trip. I travelled to the Highlands in Scotland to take on one of the lessor known hiking trails. This is the Affric Kintail Way. Officially 46 miles, this hiking trail takes you through some of Scotland's best scenery.
I completed the Affric Kintail Trail in 3 days, wild camping during the nights. I endured typical Highland weather that remained changeable throughout my trip. Fortunately my hiking gear was completely waterproof whilst my camping gear kept me safe and warm.
I would highly recommend this backpacking trail. My highlight was Glen Affric, it's an absolute wonder.
