Here is a review of the superb Wild Country Helm 1 backpacking tent. This solo backpacking tent is perfectly suited to wild camping in the UK. The Wild Country Helm Compact 1 tent also has a small pack size and weighs just under 2kg.
It's reasonably spacious for a 1 person tent. Although it has 1 door and 1 vestibule it actually has a hidden storage space that can be accessed from inside the tent. The Wild Country Helm 1 tent is very well designed and though out. It's easy to pitch and withstands all sorts of weather conditions.

The inner has plenty of headroom and there’s a good-sized porch for kit storage.
There’s extra storage space under the rear flysheet which can be accessed from a small door in the inner.
The 1 person dome tent design provides more stability than a single-pole tent.
Quick and easy to erect, the flysheet and inner pitch together.
Great ventilation with a mesh panel on the inner door, plus a smaller mesh door with a cover at the rear of the inner.
Easy access to the rear porch is accessible through the small door on the inner.
Comes with a side-opening, tarp-style tent bag which makes it easier to pack away when it’s time to move on.
A good choice for backpackers and campers looking for a roomy 1 person tent.
