Nobel Week Lights Stockholm is an annual light festival presented by the Nobel Prize Museum. Directly inspired by Nobel Prize-awarded discoveries, the artworks encourage new insights into the lives and research of Nobel laureates. 🔬📚
The festival takes place during the so-called Nobel Week in December, the week when this year's laureates are awarded their medals to then be celebrated with a big banquet on 10 December. The lights are more than welcome during this dark time of the year – and the festival is free and accessible to everyone.
Through Nobel Week Lights, both international and local artists, designers and students get the opportunity to create large-scale public light artwork. 🌟
