MaxxoRMeN made a cool entry to my 4th Mini Creator Contest earlier this year, which was my first introduction to their work. It was a really cool level, both in visuals and gameplay. When I heard about this level earlier today and saw their name, I knew it'd be worth checking out. It's nice to get to try a fully finished level by them (instead of a short one, like Mini Creator Contests require).
The visuals of this level are really nice. It mostly relies on well-timed effects from start to finish, making for good synchronization to the song. Each effect may not be anything mindblowing on their own, but the way they're executed and mixed together here makes it great overall. I also like how it keeps returning to grayscale colors throughout the entire level, while also mixing in some more colors to the song; this ties everything nicely together. I will say that the parts beyond 0:35 are significantly harder to play, and this is largely due to more intense visuals. With the effects getting faster, alongside movements of blocks and other gameplay elements, it's not possible to sightread like in earlier parts. Some of the orbs and portals are also a bit frustrating to use, as you need to time your clicks very precisely. With this in mind, some practice runs are definitely required, and it brings the difficulty to around Medium Demon in my opinion.

AudieoVisual has been streaming working on this for a little while now, but I have avoided watching any of them so I wouldnt get too spoiled on the level before release. I have seen some of the thumbnails, though, as well as the level name, so I had a general idea of the visuals going into this. The colors in this is probably my favorite part, as many pleasant colors are mixed perfectly together to give a refreshing vibe, fitting for the level theme. Other parts of the visuals help to emphasize the theme even more, such as the fruits, drinks, and leaves. The block designs arent the most exciting, but thanks to this art taking so much space, the visuals never feel boring to me. Theres also a lot of cool stuff going on in the background, such as some cool effects and lyrics to the song. Ive talked about how AudieoVisual implements the latter well in his levels, and thats no different here; the text showcases a wide variety of cool typography that is integrated nicely with the other visuals.
As for the gameplay, its easy to play without any practice. This is largely thanks to high contrast between decoration and obstacles, another positive of the color mixing here, as well as some indicators in the dual part. Even though its easy, it doesnt feel boring either, as the level does have decent speed and lots of moving blocks or decorations. I think it will be about 7 Stars, and you should definitely try it out in-game if you have the chance. You could probably skip the coin, though, unless you want to challenge my time—see below.
*COIN RATING*
Gold. 3/4. The level only has one coin, which I considered giving a Silver rating since it is a bit frustrating to do. However, I cant say Ive seen this done before, so it has originality to it, and you cant help but find it a bit funny.
- 1st Coin: Gold. The coin route begins at 0:47, where you can see a random pink pad above the normal route. I like how its there to indicate something being up that way. Some levels with coins like this just keep it invisible and expect you to find it yourself, which isnt fun. Getting to it also requires skipping one of the orbs and using the other very late, adding some difficulty. Then the actual main part of the coin begins, where you have to hit the trigger orb 250 times in the Suom Chamber. This is what I called a bit frustrating above, but it shouldnt take too long to get through if youre good at spamclicking. For me it took 50 seconds, so I sped it up for you guys in this video. After that, you get the coin and return to the normal route. All in all, this coin is slightly hidden, as well as a bit more difficult than the normal route; it definitely requires considerably more effort. At the same time, its a funny and original concept, so a Gold rating seems fair considering the levels difficulty.
