I have to admit that I haven't really played Super Mario Galaxy, so at first I thought this was just a cool themed level. When downloading the song, I realized it was based on the game. Looking up videos and pictures of this galaxy, it seems like NateFH and Aimbotter2123 did a great job at creating it in Geometry Dash. It's not a 1:1 copy, but it's adapted nicely to work in a level, which I think is the best approach for playability but also more creative.
We're already a bit familiar with Aimbotter2123 on the channel, although that was in design style rather than art. Either way, their creating skill and the result here is not a surprise. As for NateFH, I haven't heard about them before now, but I'll definitely keep a look out after this. Everything from the block designs to custom backgrounds look fantastic, and they show great knowledge and usage of Geometry Dash's default objects. This can often be a good approach to art levels for familiarity rather than making everything custom.
At first, the gameplay was a bit tricky to read for me, especially because of some custom art for pads and orbs, such as at 0:07 (yellow stars for yellow pads) and 1:09 (blue star for green dash orb). This should be fine after one practice run, though. At that point, the hardest part is 0:35 in my opinion, where the gravity changes are a bit hard to get used to. I recommend practicing this as it's noticeably harder than the rest. Aside from this part, though, the level flows incredibly well, particularly from 0:45 until the end. All in all, this level definitely deserves at least an Epic rating. I've known for a long time that I missed out not playing the original game when I was younger, so maybe I should try it out one of these days.
