Kinda sloppy fight, but whatever, I'll get a cleaner fight in the full game when I'm not under a 10 day time limit to record all the stuff I want. Still want to try and get a fight on the NPC boss after this, and will also maybe record a Yatsu no Kami fight if I have the time.
For the most part this boss is alright, I like most of its moveset and think it's a neat fight. I do have some problems with it though, mainly some things that happen when it's out of ki. Firstly, think it's dumb as fuck that it can just dodge out of the way when it doesn't have any ki left. The whole point of breaking larger enemies' stamina down is so you have a consistent window to combo them, when a boss can just jump away in between hits it kinda destroys the point of that reward. The other issue I have is that you for some reason can't grapple the boss if you hit it regularly at all during that state. While it's not a problem if you break its ki with a Burst Counter since it'll always be immediately open, it's kinda hard to tell if you can keep doing normal attacks and not accidentally ruin your opening if it enters that state during a combo. It almost seems like a bug, tbh. Outside of those things this isn't a bad fight at all though.
