Pre-sale starting price of 245,800 yuan (~$35,940) for the full vehicle purchase, including the battery. The 2026 NIO ONVO L80 is a full-size electric SUV designed with families and outdoor lifestyles in mind, combining spacious practicality with premium EV technology. Measuring over 5.1 meters long with a generous 3.11-meter wheelbase, the L80 focuses heavily on cabin room and cargo versatility. With the rear seats folded, the SUV delivers up to 2,600 liters of storage space, making it ideal for road trips, camping adventures, and long-distance travel. It also includes a large powered front trunk and hidden underfloor compartments, giving owners even more flexibility for luggage, outdoor gear, or daily family use.
Performance comes from two available electric powertrain configurations, including a 340 kW rear-wheel-drive model and a more powerful 440 kW dual-motor all-wheel-drive version. The RWD variant accelerates from 0–100 km/h in under six seconds, while the AWD model cuts the sprint down to roughly 4.5 seconds for sports-car-like responsiveness. Power is supplied by an 85 kWh battery pack capable of delivering around 605 km of CLTC driving range, while an optional 60 kWh battery offers a more affordable alternative. The SUV also benefits from a next-generation 900V electrical architecture supporting ultra-fast DC charging up to 600 kW, alongside NIO’s signature battery-swapping system for quick energy replenishment.
Inside, the ONVO L80 delivers a high-tech and comfort-focused experience with a massive 17.2-inch 3K infotainment display, a 35-inch augmented-reality head-up display, and a rear entertainment screen paired with a dedicated rear control panel. Premium seating includes heating, ventilation, massage functionality, and deeply reclining rear seats for added long-distance comfort. Advanced driver assistance is powered by roof-mounted LiDAR and NIO’s Shenji NX9031 chip, enabling sophisticated intelligent driving capabilities. Positioned as a direct rival to popular electric SUVs such as the Tesla Model Y in the Chinese market, the ONVO L80 emphasizes interior space, smart technology, and lifestyle-focused usability.
