Nintendo has announced that the Switch 2 will be going up in price globally, with Nintendo Switch Online also receiving a price hike in Japan.
Hardware price revisions are effective from 25th May 2026 in Japan and 1st September in Western markets. Nintendo states that the changes are due to "changes in market conditions" and the "global business outlook".
"We sincerely apologize for the impact these price revisions may have on our customers and other stakeholders, and we deeply appreciate your understanding."
The changes affect all Switch models in Japan, but only Switch 2 in the West. So without further ado, here are the hardware pricing changes: Nintendo Switch 2 will price increase starting September 1st:
United States: $449.99 - $499.99
Canada: $629.99 - $679.99
Europe: €469.99 - €499.99
Japan (May 25): ¥49,980 - ¥59,980 (multi-language system unchanged)
Switch (Japan), NSO (Japan/South Korea) & Playing Cards (Japan) also get increases
Metroid Prime 4 has still not appeared in any of Nintendo's financial sales reports.
Sadly that means it did not reach over 1 million units sold on Switch or 1 million units sold on Switch 2 in the past fiscal year. Nintendo will raise the price of Switch 2 globally and expects to sell 3m fewer units consoles in the next financial year as a result. In the US, the Switch 2 console price will rise by $50. The firm will also increase the subscription price of Nintendo Switch Online.

New GTA 6 details from the alleged leaks:
• Theres a 6-Star Wanted system now
• Theres some sort of RDR2 style karma or reputation system
• Police can recognize your face, clothing, and getaway car - changing these could make it easier to lower your Wanted Level. At this rate, dont be surprised if critical GTA VI story details make it out before release. The cutscene doesnt show anything substantial, but who knows what else people have managed to get access to somehow. This is a disaster on a level we haven’t seen since The Last of Us 2 in 2020 if they have a truly complete build of the game with the full story… In the latest leak, Cyberleek leaves a watermark with the following and threatens to release a prologue video: Do you want a [redacted] Prologue. CL has been evading spoilers. CL just cannot make that decision, so a poll is required, plus to show support at least 10 gamers need to show up dressed as leeks in front of Take2/Rockstar offices holding game discs during working hours Anyone who is hoping that GTA 6 fails needs a serious reality check.
If you’re one of those stupid Twitter people actually wanting the story to leak and spoil the game for millions of people, you’re a grade A loser It would have a devastating impact on the entire industry because investor confidence would evaporate completely.
How nice Yes I absolutely want GTA VI to fail as hard as humanly possible. Everything I hear about GTA VI is the most anti-consumer you can imagine.
Netflix exclusive trailers?
Asking for $80 while refusing to show gameplay?
No actual physical version?
This Leeky fraud was never about protecting physical media in the first place
It would have a devastating impact on the entire industry because investor confidence would completely evaporate. That means investors wouldnt just invest in AAA or AA but indies as well!!!!
There would be massive repercussions industry wide from it.
Even if you have no interest in GTA 6 or outright hate GTA 6, you should under no circumstances be rooting for its failure.
I truly hope they do not leak any story details, the latest leak once again looks incredible and shows off the massive scale of the city but the confirmation that there’s a build out of the game is terrifying and atp its either law enforcement gets their hand on the leakers or they are somehow honorable enough to not leak story details or the build itself Watching the last GTA 6 video leak and the leaker writes his name on the wall The people behind the Grand Theft Auto 6 leaks allegedly have access to a build of the game, as a new leaked video shows the player shooting their name on a wall The guy is spelling LEEK on the wall with bullets, meaning he or someone else is actually playing a GTA VI build live rather than just digging up existing footage. Nightmare scenario Ending confirms he most likely has a playable build as he spells out LEEK on a wall with bullets Fans WANT GTA 6 TO FAIL?!](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/oQS5b-WdKg0/mqdefault.jpg)

Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is an upcoming Lego-themed action-adventure game developed by Travellers Tales and published by Warner Bros. Games. It is the fourth installment in the Lego Batman video game series, and features an original story inspired by comic books, films and other media from the Batman franchise.
Legacy of the Dark Knight uses Unreal Engine 5 as opposed to TT Games proprietary game engine, and takes heavy inspiration from Batman: Arkham, another series of Batman video games. Announced at Gamescom in 2025, it is set to be released on PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S on May 22, 2026, with a version for Nintendo Switch 2 scheduled for a later date. Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is an action-adventure game played from a third-person perspective, alternating between various action-adventure sequences and puzzle-solving scenarios.[1] The game can be played solo, or with another player through local multiplayer.[2] DC Comics president Jim Lee described Legacy of the Dark Knight as a love letter to the world of Batman,[3] with the game featuring an original story that incorporates different elements from various Batman-related media,[4] including films, television series, comic books, and other video games.[5][6] For example, the character skins are taken from Batman comics and adaptations,[7] with some of them based on the likeness of the actors who played the characters in live-action projects, such as Michelle Pfeiffers Catwoman and Danny DeVitos Penguin from the film Batman Returns (1992), Heath Ledgers Joker from The Dark Knight (2008), and Jeffrey Wrights Jim Gordon from The Batman (2022).
Unlike previous Lego video games, which allowed players to control hundreds of different characters, Legacy of the Dark Knight includes only seven playable characters: Batman, Jim Gordon, Batgirl, Nightwing, Robin, Catwoman, and Talia al Ghul, each possessing unique skills and gadgets. For example, Catwoman is able to use a whip as a weapon, while Gordon has a gun that sprays foam.[12] The game is set in an open-world Lego version of Gotham City, with players tasked with exploring the city and engaging in combat, which has been compared to that of the Batman: Arkham series.[1][13][14] Traversal across Gotham City can be done through grappling hooks, gliding, and vehicles such as the Batmobile.[15] Players can also customize the Batcave to display a variety of vehicles and Batsuits, as well as trophies and additional items that can be collected throughout the game.[16] This game is BROKEN! - Lego Batman Legacy of the Dark Knight REVIEW (Xbox/PS5)](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/oifYujJ28KM/mqdefault.jpg)
