A long precision level. The final section felt like it never ended, it's basically just as long as the first two sections combined, and it was also a bit confusing to figure out where to go sometimes. For some reason I decided to do it try beating the level without using the checkpoints, and that a while. I like how the last part is easier if you manage to get there in one go, I don't think many people will do that though. I kinda wish this level was on a different theme though, or that it at least had different music, or even no music at all would be better. SMB1 castle theme is the worst music in the game, and the level is long, so you have to hear it a lot. The theme itself looks okay and it makes spikes easier to see, so I understand why people use it so much.

Cool kaizo level. I think the last trick was the only really hard part of the level for me. Though I also had trouble with the trick at 0:32 and lining up the shell jump right after. The rest of the level wasnt free, but I was fairly consistent at it. I had 35 nais... Going into this level, I thought I was only going to have a few, mostly from failing the p-switch spin jump because I usually have trouble with p-switch spin jumps, but no, only 3 of those nais were to that. Instead most of my nais were because either I dropped the bomb too early or the bomb and the shell would collide, killing each other. It was ridiculous how often the latter happened to me, even when practicing. Thankfully, when I finally landed on the bomb I didnt fail the shell drop.

1-★ Haunted Artillery (0:00)
When I came across this level I noticed it was way harder than the 3 other levels I had played from world 1 so far. It took 3 game overs to make me realize it was an optional level, so I finished world 1 and beat it outside of the super world. Then I checked DrHazars profile and noticed he had 4 other levels with a star on the name, so assuming they would be around the same difficulty as this one I decided to make a video. I had to beat this first level a second time to record it but I made sure to pause before touching the goal and edited the ending in the video to avoid inflating the clear rate. Not much else to say about the level, just that jumps are tighter than they seem.
2-★ Cold-blooded Demon (1:07)
Ive always thought the goomba mask looked pretty dumb but the level would be way harder without it, so I didnt mind it. The level is pretty cool. I didnt die on the last room, even in practice, so maybe it was just a really easy room.
3-★ Duality (2:34)
This one only took a few attempts, I guess I got lucky. I only died once on the second half, and not much else to say about this one, I just like how it looks.
4-★ The 100 Jumps Hall (3:45)
I hope you like the coin sound. At first I wanted to beat this without ever going into the practice doors, but clearly that was a dumb idea since the level is so long. So instead I just gave myself a limit on how many times I could use them, but it barely mattered since a lot of the jumps were so easy. My farthest death was at coin 43.
5-★ Icarus Flight (6:02)
The final level, I had to watch the clear video because I had no idea what to do in some parts. I dont know how cape works. After watching his clear I went to the practice doors immediately, and most of the tricks werent too hard to learn. I just couldnt get consistent at the second flight, but since I one shot the last trick in practice I got overconfident and went straight to attempts, so I had 5 deaths at the end.

Cool P-Switch jump level. Was a little hard to do blind but I enjoyed it. It was nice that there were a lot of p-switches, so I could keep playing the level differently each attempt or use an extra one if I messed up my movement. Had one death at the end cause I couldnt see the thwomp. Yeah, theres an arrow but it probably should have been a little higher. Still, not a bad level.

Very janky beginning. Not much else to say.
Third level (2:15)
Even jankier than the second one from beginning to end, the dumbest part is the second tall bomb ladder in which you have to hit a bomb that falls from offscreen, which felt like luck. I then had like 3 deaths on the next bomb ladder, but the level felt good to clear at least.

Generation 1 of the Poké-Precision series is done! Unbelievable. I had so much fun with this series, I am very happy with the results and with how fast we finished it. First of all, huge thanks to Katz for helping me make this. Also many thanks to Fritzef who was the first person, other than me, to clear all of the levels in the series, he even gave us a lot of stars with more than just his main account. And speaking of stars, someone else gave us a ton of them on christmas, they literally gave us enough to reach the upload slots we needed, so Im sure it had to be a viewer, and to whoever it was, if youre reading this description, thank you, that was an awesome christmas gift, and because of you, we were able to finish the series just before 2019. I still cant believe how fast we did this, its a crazy accomplishment.
The levels in this final batch are not easy, period. I dont know how to even describe how difficult they are, specially the legendaries. It got to a point where I can say Id be very impressed if more than like 5 people were able to clear all 152 levels. (Not counting Katz and myself). We set the bar too high even all the way back in the first batch, Charizard and Blastoise were really difficult compared to the other 18 levels on it. And then Nidoking and Nidoqueen in the second batch were even harder than those. The levels continued to get more difficult and thats why the legendaries turned out to be insane.
Fritzef, Katz and I all agreed that Articuno was the hardest of the three legendary birds. But for some reason Dragonite took me longer than all the other levels, I was playing really bad yesterday, like it was probably my worst performance in Mario Maker in all of 2018, but thankfully after eating some pizza, it was all fixed. Sounds weird? I guess, and it may just be a placebo effect, but I really believe food powers me up sometimes... Im getting too offtopic now. :p
Anyway, sorry for MissingNo... I guess. I wanted to make it dumb, which is why I added a midair, midairs are dumb. I actually beat the level 4 times, and never had a nai, which was cool. Mews original version was actually harder than Mewtwos original version, and even if it doesnt seem like it, we nerfed these two levels a lot. But theyre still really hard. Mewtwo has a 0.10% clear rate at the time that Im writing this, which is a bit surprising for one of these levels. Fun fact, the last 4 levels, (Dragonite, Mewtwo, Mew and MissingNo.), were uploaded a day after the 12 that came before them, because we needed a small break from the hard levels.
Small details in these levels include really big letters and the lack of music in Snorlax, the use of annoying effects in MissingNo., speed strats in Omanyte, Kabuto, Aerodactyl, Dratini and Dragonair, (which I perform in this video), epic pixel arts, etc. This final batch may be short, but I believe its also the best one in the series. Possibly because I just like really hard levels a lot.
But yeah, this is the end of the series, and coincidentally it came out at the end of the year. It is pretty satisfying to be done with the series before the end of the year, yes, were ending both this series and the year with a bang. I even decided to add a small montage-ish at the end, showing all the levels with their level IDs. The music is the Super Smash Bros. Brawl remix of the main Pokémon theme.
Finally Id like to say thank you. Both the people who liked this series and the people who hated it, thank you. Seeing each side react to the levels, either with excitement or disgust; just motivated me even more to keep going with it. Even if people dont watch or care, we wanted to prove it was possible to make 150+ unique word precision levels, and I we succeeded. Cant wait to start making the levels for gen 2. Goodbye, 2018. Thats all I had to say.

Clear checking a half old, half new level today. Half old because the main world kind of remakes one of my most underlooked Mario Maker 1 levels, and half new because the subworld is completely new. This new version is much harder, but I think its also a lot cooler. The name of this new version of the level is Grand Blue, which is the name of one of my favorite comedy anime, well, at least season 1 is. After finishing the clear check I will continue advancing my super expert run.

This is my fourth level in SMM2. Its a music level with the first opening song of One Piece, but its also a short speedrun level.
If youve been watching for a while, you might already know this level, as it is a remake of my best SMM1 level. Although its not exactly the same, I tried to make it exactly the same, but it was impossible due to new physics. So I had to come up with different setups for literally every trick in the level, and the ending is different too. I believe this version of the level is a little bit easier and also a little more blind friendly, but it looks like the clear rate is 5 times lower than it was in SMM1, probably because theres a lot of new players who have never done a level like this. Hopefully this clear video helps people who want to try it. There used to be a muncher at the flag and a pow, but then I changed the setup to what it is now, so you can just jump on the red block at the end, I guess you can call that cheese, but I like my strat more. Funny that I uploaded this on the same week that we got a new opening for the One Piece anime.
Also... I played endless super expert and got a streak of 123, which made me #1 in the leaderboard for like 12 hours or so. Heres proof: https://imgur.com/a/YEM6iK5
I hated the experience though because to get a high ranking youre basically required to skip 90% of the levels until you get one shottable stuff, and even then you have to be really careful. I havent lost the run, but I dont plan to ever play that mode on super expert again. I avoided this level for a long time because the beginning is annoying and the clear video didnt help because the stream layout made it really hard to tell what was going on at the bottom of the screen. Eventually I figured out that youre supposed to go fast and slow down just before the spot where the last lava bubble goes offscreen. It took me a long time to realize that the lava bubble stays there for quite a while and thats why it kept killing me whenever I swam as quickly as possible. Hopefully other precision crew members will find this information helpful for clearing this. Though I doubt many of them are into item swimming, I do like item swimming though. As for the rest of the level, its pretty self explanatory. It should be easy to tell how tight some parts are if youre familiar with the games mechanics. And yes, I paused at the door to hold up, because the creator did it too, its not necessary though, just convenient.

A tough wall jumping level. Some jumps are tighter than they look, but the part that destroyed me the most was the one with all the piranhas shooting fire at you. Sometimes it felt completely impossible to avoid all the fire, but at least a practice door at the beginning lets you see that section ahead of time. The burner part right after is also tricky, but not too bad once you get used to it, also I love how it looks. Theres also checkpoints, that I was very happy to use, as you can clearly see in the video. I was dumb and had one death at the end, for some reason I decided not to ground pound, but it didnt take long to get back there, so it barely mattered.
