Police in the Capital Region are showing new tools they say can help solve crimes faster, even as some Troy residents raise privacy concerns.

Technology was demonstrated during a presentation at Hudson Valley Community College where police showed a drone and a laser scanner they said can help in crash scenes, crime scenes and other emergencies.
