Stephanie VanAlstyne, a former police officer with the Greenport Police Department, who was charged with a DWI after crashing her patrol car, has pleaded guilty to DWAI.

The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office said they received a call for a crash on August 2 around 4:41 p.m. near 440 Fairview Avenue in Greenport. VanAlstyne was arrested and charged with DWI. Sheriff’s deputies said her blood alcohol content was measured at 0.15%.
