New ORNL Code Cuts Simulation Time to One Minute  @OakRidgeNationalLab

Scientists at Oak Ridge National Laboratory have developed Toucan, a powerful new computer code that dramatically accelerates microstructural simulations for metal additive manufacturing. In benchmark tests, Toucan reduced simulation times from years to about one minute, enabling simulations at previously impossible scales.
