Scientists at @Oak Ridge National Laboratory are studying vital water systems at unprecedented levels of detail as part of the Watershed Dynamics and Evolution (WaDE) Science Focus Area. The goal? To develop models that can help inform decision-making around water resources and land use. By better understanding how watersheds function and how they respond to environmental stresses, policymakers and water resource managers can make more informed decisions about water conservation, land use planning, and ecosystem protection.
