I've been looking at various aspects of Neverness to Everness, the upcoming open world gacha gaming by Hotta Studio, and something struck me as odd about the gacha mechanics.

I'm really looking forward to the release on April 29, but in the meantime I'm reading up on the game and also playing a bit on the beta. And something seems a bit off about the gacha system where you pull for new characters.
Most people are talking about the fact that it's a board game of sorts, where you move characters on a game board and the landing spot decides what you get. That's a pretty new and exciting thing when it comes to gacha games.
And some people have noted that NTE will not have a 50-50 system. This means that you will be guaranteed to get the S-rank character that you're chasing, when you do 90 pulls.
But I noted something that I believe is a bit of an issue with the board game gacha wish system. And that's something that no one else has been talking about. Maybe I'm just misunderstanding how the mechanics work, or there might actually be something that causes a little bit of concern for me.
I guess I should mention that I still think that they're doing a really player-friendly gacha system, so this isn't a major complaint! And I'm still looking forward to Neverness to Everness.
