NärCon Summer is back! NärCon is the biggest anime and cosplay festival in the Nordics, with more than 17 000 visitors. The summer convention 2025 took place between July 24-27 in the town of Linköping, Sweden - and it was amazing!

This video aims to give you a feeling for what it's like to experience NärCon, and also give you some history to the festival. And as usual, I also interviewed tons of different cosplayers and visitors to get a feeling for what they enjoy the most.
There are clips from the entire weekend in this video, but most of my filming took place on July 24 and 25, Thursday and Friday. Saturday was my shopping-and-chill day! Sorry if you only attended Saturday or if I missed you.
There's a lot of activities and performances and competitions at NärCon, but the main focus - in my view - is cosplay. And there wa certainly a lot of cosplay at NärCon 2025! I couldn't film half of everyone I wanted - but thanks to everyone who let me take a clip of their amazing costumes.
Aside from just showing off NärCon and talking to people, I also tried to include some interesting tidbits about the history of the convention, and how it has changed over the years. There will likely be a separate video with more details about that later. And I also tried to explain what panels and meetups are, and many other things that a newcomer might not be familiar with. I hope that this might help if you're curious about going to NärCon.
