Moderskeppet - the Mothership - is back for a fourth edition in 2025! This is the geekiest cruise on the Baltic Sea with 24 hours of games, hardware, cosplay, nerd activities...and a lot of partying.

Moderskeppet is an annual event arranged by geeks.se, and it's just getting more and more popular every year. More than a thousand gamers (and other pop culture enthusiasts) gather for a two day cruise filled with activities of all kinds.
There's tons of games on the ship - everything from retro games and indie games, to modern games, and a rock stage where you can perform in Rock Band together with others. And there's also a huge expo area where partners and sponsors show off the latest and greatest in hardware. Webhallen, Fractal Design, Arctic, TCL, AMD, Asus, Corsair, Gigabyte and a lot of other companies were present at the expo area, and in this video I explore a little bit of everything they have to offer.
As usual, I also interview gamers and nerds of all kinds to see what they think about Moderskeppet and pop culture in general. I have to give a fair warning though: I might not have been completely sober while walking around the ship, asking my questions!
Moderskeppet 4 also introduced a cosplay competition, so you will see more cosplayers and more amazing costumes than before in this video.
But there's more! Quizzes and competitions, merchandise and talks. And of course tons of amazing people! And let's not forget about the musical performances by Git Gud Band, Shirobon and Lizard King. Oh, and of course Syntax Error who are DJ:ing the entire evening!
