In this video Maxx completes his Hammershot build by painting and distressing the exterior of the blaster and completing the arm removal. I've never seen the can mod on a blaster, so here's a chance to have something nobody else got.
Many portions of this build can be simplified, eliminated or expanded upon to suit your needs.
For the Can mod, any thin metal can will work and you can do it label in or label out. There are two places you can cut the arm off to give whatever look you want and you can use whatever type of "putty" you are comfortable with to fill in the gaps. If you have 3D printed parts, take this build to the next level and really design a one-off for your character!
I would love to see what you come up with, so if you build your own. I'd especially love to see an old west or sci-fi genre build like this. Please link me to it on social media or email me a photo, I'd love to check it out!
