In this video Maxx reviews the Deluxe Viking Sword by Gargoyle Forge. It is an extremely lightweight sword meant for light/lightest touch larp style games.
The sword has a graphite core and is hand carved foam covered by plasti-dip. It is a solid sword with almost no whip in it, despite how fast you can swing it. It is incredibly lightweight, yet feels good in the hand. At most games I attend, this falls into the Longsword category at 39.5 inches (100 cm) total length, with a 6 inch (15 cm) grip and 30 inch (76 cm) blade.
This company also produces tons of other ridiculously good larp weapons, from swords and pipe wrenches to guitars and lutes that are all larp safe weapons! So please check them out and tell them Maxx sent you!
