To say I was eager when this game was announced is an understatement, as a 2nd gen South Indian and someone who loves to cook. I surprisingly had little experience making anything from South Indian cuisine before seeing this game come out, and knowing it deserved a lot more attention meant it was time to learn. Just as you see in the video, I learned how to make dosa and different chutneys in this video from my mom who's always kept great Indian cooking in my life!
I hope if you enjoy what you see, you check out any local South Indian restaurant and try dosa, order some idlis or a vada, and maybe it becomes a staple! A vegetarian if not vegan friendly diet with warm, spicy, and super diverse spices to fill your day up! This song was also hard to cover as I don't speak Tamil, so naturally I spent a bit of time trying to work on that just as much! Ultimately this video is a tribute to my mom's infectious love of cooking as well as a game that's ignited even more love for the story I'm a part of - maybe you as well?
