Heres a bunch of promos for the offerings in May from the cable channel HBO (Home Box Office), coming in midway through that for Standing Room Only: Top Banana Burlesque (with Jack Carter), followed by promos for Remember When: Way Out West (Part 1 of 8; narrated by Dick Cavett), Country Music U.S.A. (with performances by Roy Clark, Lacy J. Dalton, Charlie Rich and more), and Heroes: Winston Churchill - The Private War. You can hear the neat variations on the HBO music for the background incidental music in some of these promos.

Heres a commercial for The Original Ker-Bangers - [Kerbangers, Clacker Balls, Clankers, Clackers, Click-Clacks, Klick-Klacks, Klackers, Das Klackenballen?] available at Smittys (they brought them back) - Putting it All Together...Just for You. Basically the plastic ball toy where you clicked them together by moving the attached string up and down while holding on to a ring.
These toys were manufactured by the Chuck Howard Toy Co. of Inglewood, California. Despite being labeled SHATTERPROOF and UNBREAKABLE, the hard plastic acrylic balls often did indeed shatter, crack, chip, and break and could become very dangerous in the blink of an eye - thus, they were banned and the subject of a nationwide product recall by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, which was issued in December 1985.
