Here's a commercial offer for four Dr. Seuss Beginner Books from Grolier (never mind that that imprint was owned by Random House), plus a book rack and Dr. Seuss' now-iconic "The Cat in the Hat" as a free bonus, as in the latest issue of TV Guide magazine. The books that are offered as part of this deal include "Dr. Seuss's ABC," "Hand, Hand, Fingers and Thumb," "One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish," "Inside, Outside, Upside Down" (an early Berenstain Bears book), and "The Foot Book" (some of the titles offered were in the "Bright and Early Books for Beginning Beginners" series).
A little kitten walks around during the course of the commercial and the cat is put into a hat at one point to illustrate.
