Long before any missionary reached America, the Navajo already knew the story of the Nephilim. In this investigation, Dr. Thomas Horn travels deep into the Navajo Nation to sit with Dr. Don Mose Jr., a third-generation medicine man, who breaks from the official Anasazi storyline to reveal what his great-grandfather passed down: giants with six fingers and six toes, a reptilian deceiver with a halo, ritual cannibalism, and a great flood that wiped them out.
The Parks Department version says the Anasazi simply migrated and became the modern Pueblo people. Dr. Mose grinned, said he probably shouldn't tell us this, and then told the older story instead, one of mind control, monsters, and human-animal hybrids that match the Book of Enoch almost detail for detail. From there the trail leads to Newspaper Rock in San Juan County, Utah, where six-toed footprints, spiral portals, and bug-eyed creatures were carved into sandstone over a thousand years before Christ.
What emerges is not a local legend. It is the same account told in Genesis 6, Enoch, Jubilees, and Jasher, etched independently into stone on the other side of the world.
