The 2026 National Day celebration procession officially began following the arrival of His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, and Her Majesty Raja Zarith Sofiah, Queen of Malaysia.

Their Majesties arrived at 8am and were received by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

Their Majesties’ arrival was also greeted with a Royal Salute and the national anthem, Negaraku.
