Narberth Village Walk – Historic Streets & Welsh Market Town Charm
A relaxed and atmospheric stroll through Narberth, one of Pembrokeshire’s most picturesque market towns. Cobblestone streets, colourful shopfronts, and leafy lanes create a gentle, inviting rhythm, while the soft sounds of daily life — distant church bells, rustling trees, and chatter from cafes — accompany the walk. Narberth’s charm lies in its small scale, rich history, and vibrant community feel.

Narberth dates back to medieval times, with the town chartered in the 13th century. Evidence of its long history can be seen in narrow alleys, historic buildings, and the layout of the High Street, which winds past centuries-old timber-framed houses and Georgian facades. The town was once a market hub for local farmers, craftsmen, and traders, and traces of that bustling past still linger in its independent shops, cafes, and artisan stores.
