I've finally completed my ultimate ultralight backpacking gear set up. This is no expense spared backpacking gear load out that looks at the lightest wild camping gear available but is also reasonably durable and comfy.

Personally, I see most lightweight backpacking gear set ups as better-weather use only. There is often a trade off between weight and weatherproofness, comfort, durability, etc. However, ultralight backpacking gear is great for long distance thru hiking trails or if you're injured or less fit and healthy.

I've done several backpacking gear load-outs for difference weights and budgets. This is the extreme end of the scale so don't be surprised with the total cost!
