✨ Welcome to my Nostalgic Christmas House Tour ✨
This year, my vintage home is dressed not for strict period accuracy — but for memory, sentiment, and personal nostalgia. In today’s tour of my 1920s home, I’m sharing a Christmas that celebrates my past, rather than a specific decade, while still keeping that beautiful simplicity I love.
Last year’s Christmas leaned more into a 1940s-inspired, historically accurate style — with my home even being featured in a magazine! But this year I’ve chosen to decorate with heart over history.
You’ll see treasured pieces full of meaning, including:
🏡 Christmas decorations that span the entire house, with many more sentimental decorations collected over the years
🎄 My nan’s beautifully crafted hearts, plus other inherited treasures from my grandparents house
🎠 A vintage carousel from my childhood

🔥 Our beautiful fireplace featuring genuine 1940s Christmas cards
🎅 Retro Santa string lights on the Christmas tree, and a special little addition going around the bottom 🚂
Although my home is often referred to as a “1940s house,” this Christmas is about honouring memories, family, and personal tradition, all set within the warm character of my 1920s home.
