There seems to be a lovely little trend sweeping gently throughout social media: people adding old CRT televisions to their kitchen counter tops. I'm not one for hopping on trends for the sake of it, but when I found my grandparents classic CRT television with a built-in VHS player, I knew I had to salvage it and find it a good home. Enter: the top of my fridge— my counter space is just too small!
In this video, we're going to find the perfect home for this little diva, and of course, I couldn’t resist testing it out a few of my grandpa’s old VHS tapes.
So, step back in time with me for a good dollop of retro nostalgia, as we bring back televisions in the kitchen, not to add to our screen consumption, but to savour the joy of physical media! It may not be from the 1940s, but it's certainly adding serious grandmacore vibes... 👵
