Another e-waste find, this HP ScanJet 5470c is the new flatbed scanner in my shop. It supports both USB and parallel interfaces, and has Windows support from 95 to XP (It works effortlessly in Linux using XSane as well). This enabled me to go from using two separate scanners to one. It also seems to have better image quality versus my other ones. I had to make myself an AC adapter since it uses some weird 4 pin thing, as opposed to a barrel connector.
Also, yes, this didn't get uploaded in time for Canada Day.
