NOTE ON THE 1000 SERIES: If i recall correctly, at least for the 1065, you will actually find the CR1220 mounted vertically (but still on the motherboard), sort of on the other side of the laptop. I think approximately in line with the right edge of where the touch pad would normally lie, peeking out from under the frame piece there.
