A grieving husbands attempting to resurrect his past. This is our entry to the 2018 Sci Fi London 48 Hour Film Challenge, which gave us a title (My Hearts Desire), an action (a character unwraps something covered in bubblewrap), a line of dialogue ("The screens aren't clearing quickly enough in this rain, take it easy and don't take risks.") and an optional scientific idea (A genetically tailored virus targets only pregnant women). To compete in the challenge, Yoko Higuchi directs this short film written by Michael Evans, which tells the story of a man (played by Nadeem Ali) who tries to reconnect with his dead wife (played by Casey Drane). The film written, shot and edited in under 48 hours and we at Resistance Pictures are very proud of the final product.
