What is death? In this new short film, entitled "The Shades of Death", a man named Terrence, portrayed by Nadeem Ali, exists in a metaphysical state as two beings, Malik and Idris, played by Shaquille Henry and Yoko Higuchi respectively, guide him through his questions about life and death. This is a rather different film from the others we created as there is no distinct setting with a very heavy neo-noir style in its visuals. For this new take, we hope to see some of the things we can do with visual effects and non-linear storytelling.
