On this Fourth of July, America's 250 birthday, we present to you this new trailer for Yoko Higuchi's "The Death of Liberty", a new anti-authoritarian short film from Resistance Pictures. Starring Nadeem Ali and Michael Evans, it tells the story of an innocent man who's arrested in a near-future fascist America, where he has to decide whether to stick to the truth or to give false testimony in exchange for his freedom. A dark reflection of the current state of our nation. This is a piece that paints a portrait of what this country may become if we do not stand up for our core values: freedom, liberty, and justice.
