I made some mistakes developing video games over the years, so here is a game devlog to look back at my last Steam Release: "Shield Shock".

My biggest mistake as a game developer was not understanding what my strengths were and using them to excel. You can certainly learn every skill there is and I feel it is important to understand the basics of every skill involved; programming, game design, story, music, sound design, etc, however knowing when to specialize to further your knowledge quickly will get you much farther much faster. Don't make the same mistakes I did, spending the first 3 years of developing video games in a lackluster, inefficient way. Good luck developing video games everyone!
