Poppaq the Fish / ポパック・ザ・フィッシュ (MSX)
(C) 1984 Mass Tael Ltd.
Pop is a fish hero. Pop can blow mysterious bubbles that can clean anything. He uses this magical power to clean up the ocean every day. But one day, Pop hears a desperate cry for help from his friends. The ignorant humans have foolishly dumped radioactive tanks and oil drums into the sea, and they dumped a lot of them. Oil is slowly leaking from the drums and radiation is slowly leaking from the tanks. Hurry, Pop! Hurry to save your friends.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Notes:
======
- Mass Tael was a game company based in Hong Kong, making games for the Spectravideo and MSX.
- There's 3 stages per loop. After every loop, the game becomes harder and you earn an extra life. It is possible to have more than 9 lives, but the lives counter will show up corrupted.

Notes:
- Mass Tael was a game company based in Hong Kong, making games for the Spectravideo and MSX.
- Robofrog was released exclusively for the MSX, published by Spectravideo (on tape).
- Robofrog is one of the few Mass Tael games that were seemingly never released in Japan (the other game being Suparobo).
- Because you can shoot multiple bubbles through the open door, its all too easy to complete stages without having to recharge your energy or bubbles (it always takes 6 bubbles to complete a stage). Not helped by the fact that you always get an extra life for completing a stage. [MSX] Robofrog - Longplay](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/omj33Bh1EEE/mqdefault.jpg)

(C) 1985 Konami

Notes:
- Konami also ported this game to Famicom and Game Boy Color (as a part of Konami GB Collection vol. 4).
- The arcade version of Yie Ar Kung-Fu, despite sharing the same name, is a different game. That one was ported to Amstrad CPC, BBC Micro, Commodore 16, Plus/4, Commodore 64, Acorn Electron, and ZX Spectrum.
- Konamis Game Boy Advance game Pyuu to Fuku! Jaguar Byuu to Deru! Megane-kun features a parody version of Yie Ar Kung-Fu to play, where the enemies were changed to weirdos like a Japanese gangster with an enormous flat top haircut, or a big fat guy in a schoolgirl skirt. Rotors / ローターズ (MSX)
(C) 1984 ASCII Corporation
Developed by Hibiki Godai (program/music),
Satoshi Uesaka (title/characters), and Mariko Uemura (graphics).

Notes:
- ASCII was planning to release this and Pairs as a single game in 1985 for the PC-6001, PC-8801, and FM-7 computers, calling it Pairs & Rotors, but it was seemingly cancelled. A special Login Version of Pairs for the FM-7 was released in the 07-1985 issue of LOGiN magazine as a type-in. It came with a construction function to design 70 different cards (48x32 px, 8 colors). Link: https://i.imgur.com/R8kAin7.jpeg
- In 1991, Pairs and Rotors were turned into a Sanrio game, Minna no Taabou no Nakayoshi Daisakusen (みんなのたあ坊のなかよし大作戦), for the Famicom. It has the familiar Pairs and Rotors gameplay, but you play as a boy and a dog instead. The familiar Rotors melody can be heard in the game. Link: https://i.imgur.com/yBAQgoW.png
- The playable characters are named Koppe-chan (コッペちゃん) and Eat-chan (イートちゃん). They also appear in Pairs (1983, MSX).
- Hibiki Godai and Satoshi Uesaka also worked on Thexder. [MSX] Rotors - Longplay](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/pjHtFeECCPo/mqdefault.jpg)
