- Mass Tael was a game company based in Hong Kong, making games for the Spectravideo and MSX.
- Robofrog was released exclusively for the MSX, published by Spectravideo (on tape).
- Robofrog is one of the few Mass Tael games that were seemingly never released in Japan (the other game being Suparobo).
- Because you can shoot multiple bubbles through the open door, it's all too easy to complete stages without having to recharge your energy or bubbles (it always takes 6 bubbles to complete a stage). Not helped by the fact that you always get an extra life for completing a stage.

- The arcade version of Yie Ar Kung-Fu, despite sharing the same name, is a different game. That one was ported to Amstrad CPC, BBC Micro, Commodore 16, Plus/4, Commodore 64, Acorn Electron, and ZX Spectrum.
- Konamis Game Boy Advance game Pyuu to Fuku! Jaguar Byuu to Deru! Megane-kun features a parody version of Yie Ar Kung-Fu to play, where the enemies were changed to weirdos like a Japanese gangster with an enormous flat top haircut, or a big fat guy in a schoolgirl skirt.")

- ASCII was planning to release this and Pairs as a single game in 1985 for the PC-6001, PC-8801, and FM-7 computers, calling it Pairs & Rotors, but it was seemingly cancelled. A special Login Version of Pairs for the FM-7 was released in the 07-1985 issue of LOGiN magazine as a type-in. It came with a construction function to design 70 different cards (48x32 px, 8 colors). - In 1991, Pairs and Rotors were turned into a Sanrio game, Minna no Taabou no Nakayoshi Daisakusen (みんなのたあ坊のなかよし大作戦), for the Famicom. Level F is broken in both the MSX and ColecoVision versions (only the Coleco Canada version works). Havent tested Coleco ADAM version yet.
The road corner showed at 1:53-2:00, and again at 2:26-2:32, will always take you back to the beginning of the level, preventing you from making any more progress, therefore making it impossible to beat the game. The ColecoVision version isnt much better in this regard. You can make a bit more progress, but youre still forced to move in circles forever.

- Single-player storyline: Jakes emper girlfriend Ellia was kidnapped by the Chryse army, attempting to use her telepathic powers as a weapon. Jake goes to save her by using a Girly Block combat mech, originally developed by the Chryse army.
- Back in the day in Japan, the game could be played online via The LINKS modem cartridge.
