Yie Ar Kung-Fu / イーアルカンフー (MSX)
(C) 1985 Konami
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Notes:
======
- Konami also ported this game to Famicom and Game Boy Color (as a part of Konami GB Collection vol. 4).
- The arcade version of Yie Ar Kung-Fu, despite sharing the same name, is a different game. That one was ported to Amstrad CPC, BBC Micro, Commodore 16, Plus/4, Commodore 64, Acorn Electron, and ZX Spectrum.
- Konami's Game Boy Advance game "Pyuu to Fuku! Jaguar Byuu to Deru! Megane-kun" features a parody version of Yie Ar Kung-Fu to play, where the enemies were changed to weirdos like a Japanese gangster with an enormous flat top haircut, or a big fat guy in a schoolgirl skirt.

Rotors / ローターズ (MSX)
(C) 1984 ASCII Corporation
Developed by Hibiki Godai (program/music),
Satoshi Uesaka (title/characters), and Mariko Uemura (graphics).

Notes:
- ASCII was planning to release this and Pairs as a single game in 1985 for the PC-6001, PC-8801, and FM-7 computers, calling it Pairs & Rotors, but it was seemingly cancelled. A special Login Version of Pairs for the FM-7 was released in the 07-1985 issue of LOGiN magazine as a type-in. It came with a construction function to design 70 different cards (48x32 px, 8 colors). - In 1991, Pairs and Rotors were turned into a Sanrio game, Minna no Taabou no Nakayoshi Daisakusen (みんなのたあ坊のなかよし大作戦), for the Famicom. It has the familiar Pairs and Rotors gameplay, but you play as a boy and a dog instead. The familiar Rotors melody can be heard in the game. Link: https://i.imgur.com/yBAQgoW.png
- The playable characters are named Koppe-chan (コッペちゃん) and Eat-chan (イートちゃん). They also appear in Pairs (1983, MSX).
- Hibiki Godai and Satoshi Uesaka also worked on Thexder. [MSX] Rotors - Longplay](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/pjHtFeECCPo/mqdefault.jpg)

![[MSX Bugs] Grogs Revenge - Unwinnable Level F
Level F is broken in both the MSX and ColecoVision versions (only the Coleco Canada version works). Havent tested Coleco ADAM version yet.
The road corner showed at 1:53-2:00, and again at 2:26-2:32, will always take you back to the beginning of the level, preventing you from making any more progress, therefore making it impossible to beat the game. The ColecoVision version isnt much better in this regard. You can make a bit more progress, but youre still forced to move in circles forever.
See the broken level F from the ColecoVision version here:

Developed by Compile

Notes:
- Single-player storyline: Jakes emper girlfriend Ellia was kidnapped by the Chryse army, attempting to use her telepathic powers as a weapon. Jake goes to save her by using a Girly Block combat mech, originally developed by the Chryse army.
- Back in the day in Japan, the game could be played online via The LINKS modem cartridge.
- During development the game was called Gairy/Gaily Block and looked notably different. (SOURCE: 1987-10 issue of Famitsu magazine, https://i.imgur.com/KtrYSgw.png) [MSX2] Girly Block - Longplay](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/r1IF3dFYNYw/mqdefault.jpg)
