This review is a review of a US MRE from 2014. It is a vegetarian type with Penne Pasta and (TVP) Vegetable Sausage Crumbles in a nice thick tomato sauce. It claimed to be spicy but meh...and only was so once I poured on the entire packet of pepper sauce, then it was nice and spicy. I think cheese would have been a better fit as you could have used it on both the main meal and the wheat snack bread. I was not thrilled with the pudding powder as I would have preferred the pre-made pudding currently in use with other MRE menus and HDR, Humanitarian Daily Rations. If you want to see more Subscribe.
