Motivational Success Story Of Conor McGregor - From Poor Plumber to a Millionaire UFC Champion
Long Before Conor McGregor became an UFC champion he was a small child who was bullied by the other kids, He was an easy target. Conor didn't know how to defend himself. He felt powerless and miserable.
But fortunately something woke up inside of him. He was determent to learn how to defend himself. So at the age of 12 he started taking up martial arts and boxing.
He was working very hard as a plumber. He woke up at 5am and He worked more than 12 hours a day on a job that he hated. After a long day of work he would go strait to the gym to train.
His plumbing job made him unhappy. He was dreaming of becoming so much more.
"I just thought, 'This life isn't for me, I'm going to pack it in. I'm going to chase my dreams.'"
When he gave up plumbing to train full time, his parents disapproved, so much that his father laughed at him.
But Conor was determined more than ever and said to his father:
"You'll be sorry when I'm a millionaire."
And he started working harder than everyone else.
At the age of 18 Conor made his amateur MMA debut and won the match. In 2013, Conor made his UFC debut and WON. That fight earned him $60,000. And the funny thing is, just a week before the fight, he had picked up a welfare check for $235 to help him survive.
Soon he became A two-division champion in UFC, And was for a long time considered the king of combat sports. Today His net worth is $120 million.
