Just about everyone knows who Marilyn Monroe is. Throughout the course of her fascinating but short life, she accomplished quite a bit. But not everyone knows that from the day she was born her life was filled with hardships.
Having a mentally unstable mother and unknown father who abandoned the family before she was even born, she spent her childhood in an orphanage and many foster homes. She grew up never feeling love and affection.
Did you know that at first She was actually rejected many times by modeling agencies and told that she didn't have what it takes and that she should be a secretary instead. She didn't take no for an answer.
So, Marilyn Monroe was not an overnight success.
She became popular thanks to her career in the movie industry.
She wanted to become an actress, so She took drama lessons and got her first movie contract with 20th Century Fox. And during her first year at Fox she did not appear in any movies, and sadly her contract was not renewed. She was told that she was not beautiful or talented enough to be an actress. But as I said, She did not take no for an answer.
Marilyn Monroe became one of the most famous actresses of all time.
Despite her unfortunate passing at a relatively young age, her legacy still lives.
