Volleyball World unveiled its new trophy to the winners of the finals of the 2022 Beach Pro Tour. And while it wasn't made from gold or silver, the new hardware was truly the most valuable trophy. Ogilvy Social.Lab Amsterdam and Volleyball World teamed up to create a new trophy made from recycled plastic, gathered from the beaches that volleyball is played on. The unique concept makes a poignant statement on the impact pollution has on the world’s beaches and oceans that sees 11 million metric tons of plastic enter the seas each year, according to the Ocean Conservancy.
