Mortal Shell 2 - How to Get Smert's Shell - The Sacrifice Trick
How to get Smert's Shell, and the trick that stops it killing you.
Smert's Shell is bought with sacrifices, and the mistake almost everyone makes is trying to pay for it in one go. Offering a sacrifice knocks your Shell out of you, and standing there without it in that area is how the run ends.
Do it in stages instead. As soon as you reach the area, offer one sacrifice, then refill your meter to get your Shell back before you offer the next one. Repeat until it is paid off. The pauses are the whole technique, and skipping them is what kills people.
