More than 20 people are missing or unaccounted for after a flash flood moved through Bright Angel Canyon and Phantom Ranch in Grand Canyon National Park on Saturday.

Officials with the National Park Service requested the public's assistance Sunday, asking for information on anyone who might have been in the area.

Authorities recovered the body of a 46-year-old man near Crystal Rapids along the Colorado River Sunday evening. The Coconino County Medical Examiner’s Office was on scene.
