With tens of thousands of fans expected to pack the JMA Wireless Dome for a major concert Saturday night, Syracuse officials are urging drivers to plan as ongoing I-81 construction collides with one of the region’s busiest summer travel periods.
Chief Facilities Officer & Managing Director of the JMA Wireless Dome Peter Sala said the I-81 project is already affecting access to the venue.
“That I81 project is impacting everything we do here right now, so it's challenging coming to the dome,” Sala said.
