You can escape the toy monster room as Hunky Chunky with a skid jump backflip. The camera will be stuck in the room as long as you're not in first-person mode or in a place with a non-adjustable camera. You also can't interact with objects that are unloaded, so you have to press C-up to open doors.
0:39 Tag Barrel Storage can be activated by running through a tag barrel and pressing Z and C-left when you're about to leave the barrel's hitbox, as seen in the last video. Since you can't play your instrument during the toy monster fight, you will need to blindly navigate to a warp pad to make objects visible. Entering a tag barrel makes everything around you visible.

Grab a blueprint and switch kongs before the game saves. It will appear in your inventory as the other kong's blueprint, and will be fully functional when turned in at Snide's. The kong that is supposed to get the blueprint doesn't get it.
Whichever blueprint shows up in the inventory will be gone from the level; and getting a blueprint you've already gotten won't change anything.
